Oklahoma Conference on Reformed Theology

OKCRT is pleased to announce 2025’s topic, dates, and speaker:

Peter & John

November 14th and 15th, 2025

Doors open at 6:30 PM Friday and 9:00 AM Saturday. If you will be attending this year's conference, please RSVP to help us know how many people to expect. ADMISSION IS FREE!

The speaker for this year’s 23rd Annual Oklahoma Conference on Reformed Theology will be Derek W.H. Thomas.

Even a single read through the Gospels is enough to make it clear: Jesus' followers failed Him, time and again.  Some of them found it hard to set aside their preconceived ideas; others struggled to overcome skepticism and doubt.  Yet despite the times they underestimated and misunderstood and betrayed Him, Jesus did more than forgive—rather, He poured out His grace, and in so doing transformed men like Andrew, James, Peter, and John into the courageous and consequential Apostles who took the Good News to the world.  Join Dr. Derek Thomas this November 14th and 15th for an encouraging reminder, based on the lives of Peter and John, that Jesus is the One who changes "stumbling believers" into "stalwarts of faith."

The location for the conference will once again be Heritage Presbyterian Church, 14500 N. Western Ave Edmond, OK 73013.

Our speaker, Dr. Derek W.H. Thomas, is a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow and the Chancellor's Professor of Systematic and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2023, he retired as the Senior Minister at First Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Columbia, South Carolina. He previously served as the Chairman of the Theology Department at Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson), the Minister of Teaching at First Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Jackson, Mississippi, and the Robert Strong Professor of Systematic and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary (Atlanta). A native of Wales, he was ordained in the Evangelical Church of Ireland and served Stranmillis Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Belfast for 17 years before moving to the United States. He has published more than twenty books and contributed to many more.
